The Querencia Clipboard was a project in Humanities where we chose a querencia, wrote about it using sensory details, and represented it on a clipboard with the writing we did on the back. The querencia I chose was music. I represented it on my clipboard with itunes giftcards and inspirational quotes from some of my favorite artists.

I am Home,
in a place where the sun is always shining

Alone on my roof,
I put headphones in my ears.
I am safe here.
Listening to the lyrics and beats and passion.
The music takes me away.
Away from my problems,
away from the quiet.
I allow myself to think deeply,
and feel the wind.
Looking up at the dark star-spotted sky,
I think of how I wish life is.
Here everything is how it should be.
Songs of love and happiness fill my ears and soul.
Getting lost in the words and sounds.
This is my home.:)
